Image Browser Pro / Built for collaboration

Not another photo viewer.

Whether you teach or edit, you work with photographers. Bring that collaboration into one piece of software: share once, add commentary and markup, and help students and photographers think with intention.

One place for the conversation

Share once. Then talk about the work.

Whether you are a teacher or a picture editor, you work with photographers, and you probably already have a workflow spread across several programs: one to view, one to mark up, one to send, one to talk it through.

ImageBrowserPro is the place to bring that collaboration into one piece of software. Share the photographs once, with no more sending images back and forth just to discuss them, then add your commentary and markup right on the edit. Comments and markup travel in a small project file, so there is no more renaming sequences over and over, no pile of differently named copies, and no duplicates of duplicates eating up your drive space.

A built-in screen recorder captures your voice while you draw and point, so photographers and photo students hear your reasoning and see exactly what you mean. Voice commentary and visual cues travel together, with no separate recording app.

The goal is better picture-makers. Help students and photographers alike get better, think differently, and think with intention.

The gap

The picture is only half the work.

A viewer shows you the photograph. Everything else that makes the photograph useful — the critique, the caption, the selects, the reasons — ends up in email threads, screenshots, spreadsheets, and chat. It is separated from the frame it describes and easy to lose.

ImageBrowserPro starts from the other direction. The photograph stays visible while the work around it gets done, and that work travels with the image instead of beside it.

Three working relationships

Designed for the conversation, not just the file.

INSTRUCTOR / STUDENT

Teach through the frame.

Rubrics, markup, narrated critique, and read-only feedback revisions that students open beside their own work.

Grading and critique →

PHOTOGRAPHER / PICTURE EDITOR

Edit across distance.

Share the photographs once, then exchange small project files carrying selects, comments, drawings, and boards.

Remote picture editing →

PHOTOGRAPHER / DESK

Deliver with the facts attached.

Captions, credits, keywords, and IPTC metadata written beside the picture, with assignments that carry a deadline and a delivery plan.

The full workflow →

Principles

Four commitments behind the design.

ORIGINALS

Originals stay untouched.

Markup, tone, and feedback live in separate layers and files. Your photographs are not painted on.

ATTACHED

Feedback stays with its frame.

Notes belong to the right image, and instructor feedback stays read-only for the student.

HONEST

Saved is not delivered.

The app tells you what was saved, written, or sent, and never treats a closed dialog as proof of receipt.

Who it is for

Made by a photojournalist turned educator.

Browser Pro Studio is designed and developed by a working photojournalist who teaches visual communications. That is why the same tool serves a critique day and a deadline: the questions are the same ones — what is the best frame, what does it say, and who needs to know.

IMAGEBROWSERPRO / BETA RELEASE

Help shape the release.

ImageBrowserPro is in limited beta, and the people who teach with it and edit with it are shaping what comes next.
